Prof. Aziz Inan here at the University of Portland asked me to design a graphic for him that illustrates the palindrome date of Nov. 2, 2011 (10/02/2011). Under his art direction, this is what we came up with. It has been picked up in about 20 newspapers (
Los Angeles Times above) and TV station blogs, usually under the "weird news" heading. His photo there is also a "palindrome"...cut in half and reflected.
